User’s Forum
The Dublin North East Drugs Task Force Service User’s Forum meets on a monthly basis to discuss issues in relation to drug misuse. The forum currently consists of members from the Dublin North East Area and is aimed at drug users and a range of people from those actively using drugs, those using drug treatment services, to those who are no longer dependent on psychoactive substances. It is a secure place where members can inform each other in relation to healthcare provision, rehabilitation programmes and employment support and where members can actively work on policy development and implementation. The forum is facilitated by Mr Willie Salmon and is currently shaping itself for the future.
