What we do?

HowthTarget group –  Youth, Drug users and their families in the Howth/Sutton/Baldoyle area. National & non-national fishermen.

Activities – Drop-in, referral, education classes, homeless project,  harm reduction, methadone clinic, family support, youth work.

Re-training and creation of jobs.

Entry requirements/waiting lists

Entry requirements – Open to all drug-users and their families in the Howth/Sutton/Baldoyle area. Also open to all homeless in the area. 9am - 5pm Mon - Fri. 24 hrs for those in need of urgent help. (also for those who are homeless and would like to watch a soccer match!)
Costs  - Nil.
Waiting lists – Nobody turned away

Other local agencies –  Local H.S.E. Clinic
Opening times – Monday: 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. (Harm reduction. Needle exchange available to clients within and outside the area.)
Wednesday: 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. (Methadone Clinic) restricted to 30 clients. Number in excess of thirty referred to other doctors in the wider area. e.g. Malahide, Raheny.
Visiting entitlements (hours/can children visit) –  Strictly confidential. Open to clients only.
Other local agencies – C.E. Scheme: We have succeeded in having some of our clients accepted on the local C.E. scheme and then seconded to work within our project.
