Treatment and Rehabilitation Bursary Guidelines
The Rehabilitation bursary fund is promoted by the Dublin North East Drugs Task Force and managed by the Treatment and Rehabilitation Sub-committee.
Purpose of Scheme:
It was recognised that clients wishing to join a rehabilitation programme were sometimes restricted by waiting lists for some of the facilities run by the H.S.E. Other options were available, but due to the cost involved, clients were unable to avail of the treatment centre. When the committee met, it was strongly recommended that concerns over fees should not restrict anyone wishing to join a rehabilitation centre.
Criteria for funding:
- The Rehabilitation bursary fund is available to people currently living in the Dublin North East Drugs Task Force catchment Area.
- The fund is available to support CE Rehabilitation Participants, Loflexidine Clients, Clients of a Treatment Clinic and Non-Clinical referrals.
- Only application forms completed and signed by a doctor and counsellor and Community rep will be considered.
